"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."— Philippians 4:6
I'm Al Cruse, and I'm a born-again Christian. That's not a tagline for me — it's the most important fact about who I am and how I run Cornerstone Capital.
I chose the name "Cornerstone" deliberately, from Ephesians 2:20 and Isaiah 28:16. Christ is the cornerstone — the fixed, immovable reference point from which everything else is measured. That's the standard I hold this company to. Every contract we sign. Every permit we file. Every nail our crews drive.
The ADU industry has a reputation problem: overpriced bids, missed timelines, surprise cost overruns, contractors who disappear. I built Cornerstone to be the answer to that problem — not just because it's smart business, but because the God I serve calls me to do honest work, charge fair prices, and treat every client the way I'd want to be treated.
Whether you're buying the guide or hiring us for a full build — you're partnering with a team that takes its accountability to God as seriously as its accountability to you.
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."— Matthew 7:12 (The Golden Rule)
Every inquiry — whether you're asking about a $39 guide or a $400,000 construction project — receives the same treatment: prompt, honest, prayerful attention.
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."— Matthew 5:16
